We stopped last time discussing the importance of the crib Bed skirt. Today, we will continue with a very important part of the baby bedding set: The bumper pads.

Crib Bumper Pads

As you may have noticed, when we advertise our, BEDDING SET you will notice that some of them come with bumper pads while others do not. Bumper pads are necessary to secure the crib rails, to prevent your infant's fingers and toes from getting stuck when they begin to roll over. It also prevents them from bumping their head on the crib slats. 

Some experts warn against the potential hazards that sub-quality bedding materials can cause- suffocation. This is the case of bumper pads that are cut and sewn without quality control measures. These bumpers are bulky, they hang away from the crib slats and make the crib appear too rowdy because they are either stuffed with too much foam/fiber or the measurement is just purely inaccurate. 

No doubt, bumpers are very important, but be sure to buy a good quality, carefully measured and made with well treated fabric.

Remember: Tie the bumper pads securely to the 4 sides of the crib. Do not allow the ties/rope dangle inside the crib, tuck away any label from baby and do not keep anything extra in baby's crib.
